Properties: Thick oil, dec on standing or distillation. Identified by its reaction with ammonia or amines to form corresponding dibenzyl aminophosphonates.
Use: In solns with inert solvents such as chloroform, carbon tetrachloride, benzene and ether for the phosphorylation of nucleosides and amino acids.
