  • Safety Statements: A poison by ingestion, intraperitoneal, subcutaneous, intravenous, and intramuscular routes. An anti-adrenergic agent and antiarrhythmic cardiac depressant. When heated to decomposition it emits very toxic fumes of SOx, NH3, NOx, and Br−. See also SULFONATES.
