1972 IMPAG GmbH was founded in Offenbach/Germany as a 100 % daughter company of IMPAG AG Z?rich, Switzerland. We have taken on the official representation of top-ranking producers in Europe, Asia and the USA up to this day, and have specialised in high quality raw materials and active ingredients. IMPAG Germany has become a well-known distributor working in the cosmetic and detergents field. 1989 the business in Chemicals of the washing and cleaning agent industry was introduced and consistently developed with international partners like Tessenderlo (with caustic soda and potash), PQ Europe (with sodium metasilicate), Henkel (with zeolith compounds), and Tensachem (with Alkylbenzene sulfonic). Along with the production facilities that supply us, we have succeeded in setting up a key mainstay for our activities in chemicals. We are specialised in applications in the laundry and cleaning sector and we are today able to cover virtually the whole range of laundry and dish-washing substances. 1996 was the start of the branch Pharmaceuticals / Cosmetics. Our cosmetic department is focused on active ingredients for all kinds of applications e.g. anti-age, sensitive skin, sun care, anti-cellulites, hair care as well as in emulsifiers, extracts of the Centella Asiatica, micronised waxes of natural and synthetic origin, a wide range of different peeling products and microencapsulation technologies used for visual and functional advantages. Furthermore, as such a highly specialised trading company, IMPAG is finding it increasingly necessary to engage chemically and technically trained employees in-house, as well as cooperate with advisors and institutes.
