Jinlong Green Chemical Co., Ltd. was established by Jiangsu Yuhua Jinlong Technology Group and Guangzhou Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2003. She lies in Xiqiao Economic Development area, Taixing, Jiangsu and covers 50620 square meters, gets close to the Changjiang River, Peking to Shanghai highway, with convenient communications. We are engaging in the researching and producing of biodegradable CO2 copolymer and intermediate of medicine.
In 2003, we started to produce aliphatic polycarbonate polyols, which could be obtained from copolymerization of CO2 and ethylene oxide using polymer supported bimetalic compound (ZL 89100701) as catalyst, and biodegradable polyurethane foam.
In order to accelerate development of us CAS consigned Chinese Academy of Sciences Holdings Co., Ltd to invest 锟?000,000 to our company in 2004.
The main product polyethylene carbonate polyols have similar structure and properties with polyether polyols or polyester polyols and can be used to produce polyurethane foam, elsatomer, coating, et al.
Polyurethane foam based on polyethylene carbonate polyols has very excellent biodegradability. In 2003, we relegated Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Science to measure biodegradability of this foam according to ISO 14855. Results(see attachment) showed that biodegradation of the foam was 32.3% in 30days (Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Science only provided 30 days' experiment results) While biodegradation of paper dinner bucket was 40-45%, cellulose dinner bucket was 30-35% in same measurement condition. We also relegated China National Centre for Quality Supervision & Test of Plastic Products to take biodegradability test. The test results will be obtained in August.
