Our BLS® 234 is a low volatile, benzotriazole type, ultraviolet light absorber (UVA), which is highly effective for polymers being processed at high temperature. We provide a variety of anti-oxidants, which are useful to protect adhesives, lubricants, plastics, elastomers and coatings from oxidation during high temperature processing, and/or exposure to elevated temperatures during end-use. Anti-oxidants are subdivided into chemical families having different performance characteristics, including phenolic anti-oxidants, metal de-activators, amine anti-oxidants, phosphites, thiosynergists, and hydroxylamines. Blends of different kinds of anti-oxidants are often used in order to provide optimal performance.
