Colorless, transparent oily liquid with slight amine odor. It is soluble in water, alcohols, ethers, esters, ketones, halogenated hydrocarbons, aromatic hydrocarbons, and castor oil. Low volatility, good thermal stability and chemical stability, can evaporate with water vapor. Hygroscopicity. Sensitive to light.
